What I Wore :

Waistcoat : Next
Polo Neck : M&S
Jeans : ASOS
Boots : Vagabond

Yeah I'm totally aware that I'm wearing a waistcoat. But with good reason!

Walking past Zara in the Trafford Centre the other night, I couldn't help but notice the increeeeedible new season window displays. The item that had taken center space was nothing other that the most beautiful black velvet embroidered waist coat. It was love at first sight. Yet, I knew we could never be together. The reason? The £69.99 price tag.

So instead, I went home and cried for my long lost waistcoat. And then - as if by magic - my mum decided to have a clear out. And what should be on top of the pile, other than this woolen beauty!

Admittedly, it's not as delicately bohemian-chic as the Zara one, but it's totallllly 70s and I think I'm going to try and find a way to work it into everything that I wear for the next month or so...

What I Wore :

Before I say goodbye to my hair, I've been plaiting it and corn-rowing it like there's no tomorrow. I've still not mastered the art of neat lines, or not getting a dead arm whilst in the process, but perhaps when it's short I might have a better chance...

This sweat may be a dupe but I didn't realise it had potential as 'favourite thing I've ever bought' until this last couple of weeks. I bought it last autumn and stuck it at the back of my wardrobe because it was too boxy and everyone else in the world was wearing it. For me, I think that's the ultimate deterrence for a piece of clothing.

HOWEVER... As the weather's been dancing around the 0 degrees mark and I'm having to de-ice my car of a morning, all I want and need from life is just want to be warm. I never am mind, because I think I might actually be cold-blooded...

And it's got a turtle-neck, so in my eyes there's nothing better.

Top 5 :

Monki Nina Trousers
These remind me of being a pre-teen and having those belts like seat belts that literally strap you into clothes your mum insists you'll grow into. Having said that I don't know why I've chosen them. Nostalgia perhaps...

What's black and white and read all over? A newspaper. Also this sweater (jumper - a knit is a jumper).

Because sometimes you just feel like a black widow baby.

I've wanted this for the longest time. Topshop Boutique >

Magpie like qualities emerge every time I see a pair of silver shoes...

Wednesday Wishlist

Because why not further your plaid shirt collection with a seasonal flannel dress? Clueless yellow and black is everything.

I've been searching for the perfect camel coat EVERYWHERE, and while it's not yet freezing outside, this blazer like style looks perfect for the new season.

I'll never not want every pair of Vagabond boots. These are my current favourites!

I'm determined to experiment with longer lengths and layers this season and this dress is perfect!

See my prior post on my obsession with fine jewellery, this fits riiight into my collection!

They're gold and pretty and you can never have too many stackable rings right?

It just looks so comfortable and oversized and can be paired with pretty much anything.
So much better then double denim-ing.

Simply because I've had this album on repeat for months, and my vinyl player that I got for my 21st is my favourite toy.
